The Sword of Crabbagnon is the sword wielded by Captain Red Shell in all his adventures. Forged several generations ago by the best crab blacksmiths of the Crab Empire, it was for the current emperor of the Crab Empire, Emperor Crabbagnon.
After Emperor Crabbagnon's death, the sword was given to the most honorable warrior in the Crab Empire. And from there, the sword has been passed down from warrior to warrior, and is now wielded by Captain Red Shell.
History[]
Many years before, the Sword of Crabbagnon was used by the emperor of the same name, not only as a powerful weapon, but also as a symbol of honor, bravery, leadership and authority. After the emperor's death, the sword kept it's symbolic meaning. The crustacean who wields the legendary sword must also be an honorable and brave warrior and fulfill the ideals represented by the sword.
Captain Red Shell was given the sword after the death of the previous leader of the crab army. Since then, Captain Red Shell is a respected leader among the crab soldiers. The crab soldiers are loyal to Captain Red Shell, and will follow his orders without a doubt, as the sword also represents the authority Captain Red Shell has in the crab army.
In war, the Sword of Crabbagnon has been used many times, and is the most durable sword of all. The ability the sword has to slash through virtually any material, and to be practically indestructible, has caused fear among the enemies of the Crab Empire throughout the years. This is how the sword also gained it's meaning as a symbol of power and bravery.

A power the Sword of Crabbagnon has actually been seen to have is the ability to generate light waves, and light pillars. Captain Red Shell has been seen to have the ability to create these with the Sword of Crabbagnon.
